Nestborn
Unique to hatching in the barn is that the hatching eggs are moved to the barn after the candling process, so that the last three days of the hatching process take place on the poultry farm itself. The chick has immediate access to water and feed and there is no more transport of day-old chicks. This results in considerably less stress for the chicks.
