Jodoco specializes in the development of innovative feed supplements and supplementary feeds. Production takes place on site in Tienen and is sold at home and abroad to livestock farmers and the compound feed industry.

All kinds of raw materials are used for this, of which natural betaine, which comes from sugar beets, is the most important. The advantages of this raw material have been known for some time in monogastrics (pigs and poultry), but recently we have also become aware of the added value for cattle. The rumen fermentation in particular benefits from this.

• Cattle:
  • Ruval® range: Ruval®, Ruval®boost, Ruval®plus & Ruval®max
    Ruval® is a liquid, complementary animal feed that is standardized and enriched with natural betaine. The betaine stimulates the rumen fermentation and promotes the health of the animals. Depending on the ration, Ruval® is supplemented with organic acids to preserve the TMR and/or rumen energy to guarantee a balanced ration.
  • Acibet® G: is a ration improver, increases the absorption and utilization of the (mixed) ration, stimulates the liver function and actively shortens the negative energy balance. This produces more milk or milk with better components! In addition, Acibet® G contains natural betaine that stimulates rumen fermentation and microbial protein synthesis, promoting animal health.
  • Acibet® TMR: effectively inhibits overheating. Mixed rations and silage forage therefore remain fresh and tasty for longer, so that they are better absorbed. Acibet® TMR also contains natural betaine, which stimulates rumen fermentation and thus microbial protein synthesis and promotes animal health.
• Poultry/Pigs:
  • Grovax: is a liquid mixture of natural ingredients that improve the intestinal health of monogastricians. Grovax stabilizes and promotes healthy intestinal flora, which strengthens the integrity of the intestinal wall. The different components provide an integrated approach and enhance a wide range of physiological and microbiological processes in the gut. This synergy guarantees optimal intestinal health.
  • JodoPlume: is a source of natural betaine, combined with organic acids, and is allowed in organic livestock farming. This product has been developed for drinking water application in monogastrics. JodoPlume protects the intestinal epithelial cells against osmotic stress factors such as coccidiosis, dysbacteriosis and heat, thus reducing the effects of diarrhea in pigs and wet manure problems in poultry. Natural betaine also acts as a methyl donor in liver metabolism. This protects the liver against fatty acids and improves fat and energy metabolism.
  • Multi-Mineral Mix: is a liquid supplementary feed for poultry that contains macro- and micro-minerals for water supplementation. The nutritional functions of these nutrients are numerous and influence bone development, disease resistance and immunity. In addition, in poultry, eggshell quality, hatching egg hatchability, footpad dermatitis and hock joint lesions improve in poultry. In sows, the Multi-Mineral Mix is used to remedy leg problems, to strengthen the durability of the legs and to give an extra boost to fertility. Finally, they counteract the adverse effects of stressors on growth and feed intake.
